Door of Awareness
Door of Awareness is a non-profit, non-political organization, playing its role for a better Pakistan. Provision of education to the poor is one of the biggest hurdles that Pakistan faces. Door of Awareness aims to work consistently in order to make its contribution towards filling this gap that exists in our society through establishing schools and training centers in the city of Lahore. The organization provides free of cost education to the children living in slums/shanties of Lahore by working closely with the local residents as well as the parents of the children enrolled in order to make them aware of the importance of education. The Door of Awareness has a two-fold aim of imparting education and enhancing the employability of the poor in order to enable them to earn sustainable livelihood for themselves.

The Walled City of Lahore
The Walled City of Lahore Authority is a semi-government organization in Lahore, established and funded by the Government of Punjab for the conservation, planning and development, regulation, and management of the Walled City of Lahore. The organization works autonomously and was established in 2012 after Provincial Assembly of the Punjab amended the Walled City of Lahore Bill 2011 to create the authority. It looks after the heritage sites in the area and specifies penalties for damaging buildings or setting up encroachments as well runs the functions of the Old City of Lahore. The authority also helps promote cultural activities and tourism in Lahore.

Justice Project Society
Justice Project Society is a non-profit organization based in Lahore that represents the most vulnerable Pakistani prisoners facing the harshest punishments, at home and abroad. JPS investigates, advocates, educates, and litigates, building public and political support as well as legal precedents that will lead to systemic reform of the criminal justice system in Pakistan. The organization’s work combines strategic litigation, fierce domestic and international public and policy advocacy campaigns, and building the capacity of stakeholders who can improve the representation and treatment of individuals at risk of execution. In recognition of JPS work, JPS was awarded the first-ever 2016 Franco-German. Human Rights Prize, granted to only 16 human rights activists throughout the world. In December 2016, JPS was awarded the National Human Rights Award, presented by the President of Pakistan.

Lahore Autism Centre is a specialist day program providing education for children and young people aged 4 to 12 with a diagnosis of Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and additional complex communication, social and emotional needs. They are a non-profit charitable trust headed by their director, Maheen Gul Malik. They offer speech, art, music, occupational and sensory integration therapy. Startup Early
Startup Early was born when a realization occurred regarding the dearth of entrepreneurship opportunities for young people specially during their elementary and high school years. Startup Early is on a mission to fulfil longstanding pledges to foster entrepreneurship through various services. Their Virtual Entrepreneurship Program for teenagers is one of the first of those initiatives. In 2019-2020, leading schools like Aitchison, Choueifat, Lacas and City school have hosted their workshops on campus. They have developed and launched online courses e.g. Entrepreneurship and Crowdfunding Workshops that develop your practical and soft skills. Through this program and future initiatives, they want to instill an entrepreneurial spirit within the future generation of young Pakistanis. The Research Society of International Law (RSIL)
The Research Society of International Law (RSIL) was formed in 1993 in Pakistan under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and today is the largest legal think-tank in Pakistan staffed by a dedicated team of highly qualified researchers based in offices in Islamabad and Lahore. RSIL organizational philosophy is based on the view that greater awareness of international law improves the development of a State’s domestic and foreign policies and helps Pakistan remain compliant with its international commitments, thus solidifying its reputation as a responsible member of the international community. To this end, RSIL engages in academic research, policy analysis and capacity building in order to inform the discourse on issues of national and international importance from a legal perspective and effect positive change in the domestic legal space. As RSIL is a non-partisan, apolitical institution, our mandate is restricted to providing legal analysis on the challenges facing Pakistan without engaging in partisanship or expressing any political biases. The Society also seeks to develop an extensive network both within and beyond Pakistan of similar organizations that share its vision and dedication to this field. It has a responsibility to advance knowledge in a search for the best applications of international law through original inquiry and publication.
