A world-class research program for ambitious and innovative students around the world.
Founded by Harvard and oxford researchers, the Lumiere research scholar program offers students the opportunity to work 1-on-1 with a PhD mentor to learn about the cutting edge in their field of interest and produce an independently-developed research project. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to do research in their areas of interest. Our students have gone on to join the world’s best universities, start non-profits, and represent their countries in global competitions. As a part of our mission to make research opportunities more available for high school, students, we also offer financial aid and scholarship to our scholars.
Students may indicate their need for financial aid in their application form.

What makes a strong candidate?
The Lumiere research scholar program is selective in its process. Here’s what we look for in applicants:

• Academic excellence
• Curiosity about the world and a desire to answer big questions
• Ability to work independently and diligently
• Not-required: experience in the field of your interest

We offer a diverse range of research programs, designed to suit a range of ages and experience levels. Each program has a spring, summer, fall, and winter session. The regular admission deadline for the winter cohort is November 20th, 2022.
The regular admissions deadline for the spring cohort is February 12th, 2023.
For the summer 2023 cohort, we have 3 deadlines:

• Priority admission – March 12, 2023
• Regular admission i – April 16, 2023
• Regular admission ii – May 14, 2023
