About Owlypia

Eye on Ivy is super excited to announce that we have partnered with Owlypia! Owlypia is a UK-based knowledge competition. Young individuals compete with others internationally, showing their knowledge and skills in their favorite subject areas. Owlypia Competitions are the first step to an exciting journey aiming to inspire the intellectual curiosity in young minds around the world. By studying the content of each subject carefully, students prepare themselves for the competition. Owlypia has reached over 9,255 participants from 81 countries in three years. Owlypia currently has 340 Exam Centres (OWEX) in 81 countries.

What is Owlypia?

Owlypia – The Intellectuals’ Challenge is an international platform for students aged:

9-11 (Owlins)

12-14 (Owlets)

15-18 (Owlys)

How to Register : 

1. Sign up at  Owlypia Online.

2. Receive Payment details.

Owlypia Online Round Fee is PKR 2,000.

3.Upon payment, send us a photo of your paid receipt at owlypia@eyeonivy.com by 21st May, 2021.

4. Receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

Deadline to register is 21st May, 2021.

How does Owlypia work?

Owlypia consists of ONLINE tests for everyone, 2-day LOCAL events in different countries and 4-day GLOBAL events at the most prestigious institutions around the world. There are three contests:

Owlypia Local Virtual

Owlypia Global

Owlypia Online

Owlypia Online is a competition in the form of a multiple-choice exam. As the exam is completely online the only requirement is having an internet connection. A student can register for just one or even more than one of these dates.

Owlypia Online Prizes

Each participant receives a Certificate of Participation and a Report Card showing his/her individual scores.

Gold, silver and bronze medal certificates are given based on the following percentages:

15%: Gold Medal

16-35%: Silver Medal

36-60%: Bronze Medal

General Guidelines

  • Each student will choose a favourite subject where 100% of the questions will come from.
  • It is compulsory to take Owlypia Online or Owlypia Local Competitions, if held in your country, to go to Owlypia Globals.
  • Any student aged 9-11 (Owlins), 12-14 (Owlets) or 15-18 (Owlys) can enroll to take part in this competition.
  • Participants must choose their favourite subjects and prepare themselves for the competition.
  • Students need to use the recommended resources indicated under the subjects for each category.
  • The online test will be available to the students with a unique code/link, which will be sent to them by email in advance.
  • Participants should follow the instructions on their screen on the day of examination.
  • All Owlypia Online Competitions focus on the theme of the year.
  • Each Owlypia Online Competition consists of different questions.

Distribution of Questions

Each participant will have questions from each resource category; books, films, videos, articles/blogs, and research people.

Total: 90 questions (Owlys and Owlets) and 60 questions (Owlins).

During the competition, participants cannot change answers once they’ve chosen an option and clicked on “next”. In case of a tie, the faster Owlypian wins.
